This splendid life-size armor (portable for a reasonably sized individual) includes a lacquered armor box and wooden display frame Oda Nobunaga (1534 - 1582), who played a key role in the course of feudal Japan's history. His policy of unifying a country controlled by many conflicting warlords resulted in a series of victories characterized by brilliant tactics and the first organized use of firearms.
This museum-quality battle armor, built by Hanwei craftsmen, is in the Yukinoshita Do style, having largely solid vertical plates around the torso and incorporating all the elements of armor of the period.
Oda Nobunaga's crest is mounted on the helmet. The armor is supplied in a traditional lacquered box, which, together with a wooden frame, provides an ideal support for displaying it.
Armor height: 1.68m
Total weight: 30kg
